轻轨 从解放碑到大渡口区的高架轻轨横穿区内。根据重庆市轨道交通发展规划，轻轨二号线将向南延伸至中梁山段，未来还将建设五号线（冉家坝西彭）、城市铁路菜白线（菜园坝白市驿）、中环线（菜园坝九龙坡）和北津线（北碚铜罐驿）。

“十一五”期间，将启动实施水碾立交、袁茄路改造，启动建设长江滨江路，力争南北干道实施，打通杨谢石黄地区二环线和启动建设三环线，完成华福大道主体工程向北延伸与主城干道、二郎立交形成有机连接，形成主城核心区三环主干道交通系统；配合外环高速公路西段、渝滇高速公路、西部中纵线等市级重点工程建设，加快西部新城纵向、横向城市主干道骨架建设，启动高速立交接口路段及连接线路的建设，完善中梁山隧道、华福路隧道西出口横向干道与联络道的路网，初步形成西部新城主干道呈“三纵六横”主骨架布局。

航空 重庆江北国际机场距离九龙坡区政府所在地30公里，车程20多分钟。

港口 辖区内有长江上游最大的深水货运水陆联运码头九龙坡港，设有重庆保税仓库。

“十一五”期间，将配合重庆港（九龙坡作业区）的扩建工程，完善九龙港区、铁路南站、西站、周边仓储、集运系统，建设重庆综合交通枢纽和物流中心，适时推进铜罐驿港区、黄谦码头建设。

Light rail

The light rail from Jiefangbei to Dadukou crosses it. Roadway

Road network extends in all directions, so the traffic is quite convenient. The city roads of Dajian, Yangjiaping loop, Hualong, and Huafu are newly built and a set of major town roads like the Baipeng Road, Jinma Road, Baizou Road and Hanjin Road etc, are rebuilt. As a result, a road network of "One well, One loop, Eight connects" is formed with the expressways and major roads as the framework.

During the period of “11^th Five-year Plan”, it will start the reconstruction of Shuinian Crossroad and Yuanqie Road, along with the construction of Yangtze River’s Binjiang Road, implement the construction of main roads from south to north, knock through the 2^nd ring in the area of Yangxieshihuang, and start to construct the 3^rd ring. It will complete the extension of the main project of Huafu Road to the north, so as to form the organic connection with the main roads and Erlang Crossroad. In this way, the main road’s traffic system of three rings in the center of urban area will be shaped.

At the same, it will also coordinate the construction of municipal key projects, e.g. the west section of the express way in the outer loop, Yu-Dian express way, and the middle lengthwise line in the west, etc., speed up the main road’s backbone construction of the longitudinal and crosswise cites in the new western city, start the construction of the joint sections of the express crossroads and the connective lines, perfect the road net among the Zhongliang Mountain tunnel, the crosswise main road of the western exit in the Huafu Road tunnel, and the connecting roads. Finally, the main framework will be framed to the “three vertical and six horizontal” in the main roads of western new city preliminarily.

Aviation

Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport is just 30 kms, or 20-minute drive to Jiulongpo Government.

Port

Jiulongpo Port, the biggest deepwater dock for land and water joint transport service in the upper Yangtze River, is equipped with the bonded warehouse.
